Thistledown is an opportunity for men seeking sober living. We’re located in Conway, NH, and are currently accepting applications from men seeking a safe, substance-free environment where they can utilize skills accumulated in treatment and apply them to their transition back into the community. Our mission is to provide a safe, structured environment for people in recovery from substance use disorder, through connection, community, and accountability.
In Celtic lore, the thistle represents devotion, bravery, determination, and strength. It also represents overcoming adversity and difficult situations. It's a symbol of resilience.
Thistles are beautiful and prickly, and in the fall, after a full season's growth, the pods open up and the downy seeds are freed into the universe to begin life all over again.
Sounds like people in recovery.
